The Capacity Building Team provide a Training Calendar click here which varies regularly to provide an exciting and  comprehensive learning programme for professionals, volunteers and community members.

We are excited to offer our training programme on a virtual platform; and have chosen courses to deliver this way that will support individuals and those who work with others, to raise their awareness in subjects that will improve their mental and physical health in these uncertain times. The training is FREE to anyone living or working in County Durham.

New Booking System:

We have changed our booking system, if you want to attend any of our training you can find it on the website click here and you will need to register as a new learner to book your place.

Once registered you will be able to see your User Dashboard, here you will see details of all your training previously attended (through the new system) and courses you are booked on in the future, as well as the course slides and certificates for courses you have attended. You can manage your account details and password and even cancel your attendance through your User Dashboard as well. "Lisa is a much happier, confident person now. She is enjoying going out to places with support staff."

"Elizabeth lost just over half a stone while working with myself. This in turn increased her confidence."

"I have found the sessions to be helpful, informative and educational, delivered in a manner that I would more expect from a well-intentioned friend than a health trainer."

Andy, Ferryhill

"Angela achieved a number of healthy lifestyle changes as well as some significant weight loss."

"I would wholeheartedly recommend the Wellbeing for Life Service to anyone to refocus one’s life in a positive way."
